Low Level Design

Low level design interviews test whether you can turn a fuzzy problem into classes with clear responsibilities, and explain why you split them that way. This track builds that skill in three steps.

  1. Foundations. Modeling objects and applying SOLID, including where SOLID is commonly over-applied.
  2. Design patterns. The handful of patterns that come up repeatedly, each with the problem it solves and what it costs.
  3. Worked problems. Full designs that start from requirements and end with alternatives you could have chosen.
